Bissett Consulting Organization

Mount Royal University
Built to build consultants.

BCO is entering its second year at MRU. In 2026–2027 we're expanding our programming, deepening industry partnerships, and helping students understand how AI is reshaping consulting.

Who Are We?

The Bissett Consulting Organization (BCO) is a student-run club under the Students' Association of Mount Royal University (SAMRU), founded in September 2025 to give MRU students meaningful exposure to the world of consulting and strategy through hands-on events, case competitions, and industry connections.

Our first year exceeded expectations. We grew to 30 members, ran a full slate of programming, and built real recognition across campus. What started as an idea became a community, and that community is now ready to grow. Demand for consulting education at MRU is strong, and BCO is positioned to meet it.

In 2026–2027, we're expanding our events, deepening our industry partnerships, and evolving our programming to reflect the consulting landscape students will actually enter, including the growing role of AI in strategy and how firms deliver value. Our programming this year includes Intro to Consulting, AI and Consulting, Case Night, and Day in Consulting.

BCO is open to students from every faculty at Mount Royal University. We believe diverse perspectives produce better thinking, and we're committed to building a space where students from business, STEM, arts, and beyond can develop the analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills that define great consultants.
